• 7/5/2013 - 7/14/2013: Daniel's trip to Singapore to visit his brother and family
• 7/15/2013 - 7/20/2013: Daniel in the Word. God preparing his heart for "something greater"

• 8/4/2013 : Submitted application to America World Adoption + $300 application fee
• 8/8/2013: Accepted into the Haiti program!!!
• 8/12/2013: Mailed paperwork + $2250 initial enrollment fee into AWA
• 8/10/2013 : Told Aunt Tootie the exciting news... will be telling the entire family in person over Labor Day trip :)
• 8/10/2013 : Tootie reaches out to friend to create our logo
• 8/15/2013 : Jennie works on blog/fundraising letter/etc...
• 8/27/2013: Received the Home Study Paperwork
• 8/28/2013: Assigned our Family Coordniator and received our Dossier Paperwork

Full Process Current Timeline Estimates

1.       Completed dossier mailed to AWAA (2-4 weeks for review, translation and authentication at Haitian Consulate)

2.       Dossier sent to Haiti for legalization at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (5-7 days in transit to Haiti)

3.       Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA (3 weeks – 8 weeks)

4.       Submission to IBESR (Institut du Bien-Etre Social et de Recherches), Haiti’s Central Authority

5.       Wait for a Formal Referral from IBESR (18-24 months – at this time)

6.       Receive Formal Referral from the IBESR

7.       Bonding/Socialization Trip – Trip #1 – 15 days

8.       File I600 at USCIS while in Haiti

9.       Exit the IBESR (1-8 months after bonding trip)

10.   Court System - Parquet (1-2.5 months) 

11.   Remaining Court System (1-2 months) 

12.   Attestation Signature (National Archives) (2  to 4 weeks)

13.   Minister of Justice (2 weeks to 3 months) 

14.   MOI – Minister of Interior (3 weeks to 12 weeks) 

15.   Passport (2 weeks to 2 months) 

16.   File to USCIS for I600 Adjudication(6-12 weeks)

17.   US Embassy (2-3 weeks) 

18.   VISA Appointment (1 day – 14 days out from US Embassy email)

19.   Visa Pick-Up  - (normally, within 48– 72 hours after your child’s visa appointment)

20.   IBESR Travel Authorization (48-72 hours after visa printing)

21.   Trip #2 (minimum 6 days in length)
